SAJANPREET SINGH
About 20 years old, Sajanpreet Singh lived in his own small house village Vallah Amritsar. He was living happily with his mother and brother and worked as a Granthi Singh on Akaal Takhat Sahib. His younger brother worked as a labourer with someone.
ਸਾਜਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਿੰਡ ਵੱਲਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ, ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਲੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਤੀਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਛੋਟਾ ਭਰਾ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਜਦੂਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ।
One day when Sajanpreet was going home on his bicycle after performing his service at Akaal Takhat.At some distance from his house, he met to a truck accident when he was crossing the main highway road. Both of his legs were crushed so badly that the doctor had to cut his both legs.
ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਜਦੋ ਸਾਜਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਤੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਘਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਦੂਰੀ ਤੇ ਮੇਨ ਹਾਈ ਵੇ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਟਰੱਕ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦਾ ਐਕਸੀਡੈਂਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਕਰਨ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਨੋ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਇੰਨੀ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੁਚਲੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਕਿ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਨੋ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਕੱਟਣੀਆਂ ਪਈਆਂ।
After a long treatment, her life was saved. But Sajan could no longer walk on his feet. His life was also ruined by this terrible accident. Sajan was a great encouraging person and he always thought that if I had artificial legs, then I could try to walk. But the conditions in the house were not good enough to afford such a large expense.
ਲੰਮਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਇਲਾਜ਼ ਚੱਲਿਆ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਬੱਚ ਗਈ ।ਪਰ ਸਾਜਨ ਹੁਣ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ।ਇਸ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਐਕਸੀਡੈਂਟ ਨੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਵੀ ਨਰਕ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ।ਸਾਜਨ ਦਾ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਨਾਵਟੀ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਣ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਚੱਲਣ ਫਿਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ ।ਪਰ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਇੰਨੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਇੰਨਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਖਰਚਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ।
One day the channel M.D S.Amrik Singh Kooner and the team from the channel arrived his house to meet Sajan and looking his encouragement S.Amrik Singh Kooner promised to get his treatment with artificial limbs. When Sajan knew that he and his family smiled happily and Sajan immediately showed a video.
ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਦੇ ਐਮ.ਡੀ.ਸ.ਅਮਰੀਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੂੰਨਰ ਅਤੇ ਚੈਨਲ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਸਾਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਘਰ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਜਨ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਹੌਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਤਕਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ.ਅਮਰੀਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੂੰਨਰ ਸਾਜਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਨਾਵਟੀ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਲਗਵਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।ਜਦੋ ਸਾਜਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਇਜ਼ਹਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਰੁੰਤ ਸਾਜਨ ਇੱਕ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the video, a young man whose legs amputated.But he was walking with artificial legs and Sajan says that even if I had such legs, I could still walk again.After a day or two, he was taken to an artificial limbs centre and in keeping with his firm belief, the team interacted with a team of artificial limbs and demanded the best artificial limbs.
ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਇੱਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਜਿਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਕੱਟੀਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਨ।ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬਨਾਵਟੀ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੱਤਾਂ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਣ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਚੱਲ ਫਿਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ।ਇੱਕ ਦੋ ਦਿਨ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਥੇ ਬਨਾਵਟੀ ਅੰਗ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਖ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਟੀਮ ਬਨਾਵਟੀ ਅੰਗ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਾਹਰ ਟੀਮ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਅੰਗ ਲਗਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ।
Then, again and again, Sajanpreet went to the centre where he was practised to walk with artificial limbs. After a few days, Sajanpreet Singh himself was able to walk. His mother and brother were happy to see him a little walk and Sajan also experienced happiness.
ਫਿਰ ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਸਾਜਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਉਸ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਬਨਾਵਟੀ ਅੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਣ ਫਿਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੈਕਟਿਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ। ਕੁਝ ਕੁ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਾਜਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਆਪ ਚੱਲਣ ਫਿਰਨ ਦੇ ਕਾਬਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਉਸਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਾ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਜਨ ਵੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ।
