PARAMJIT KAUR
Paramjit Kaur lives with her family in Dhaulpur village Batala District Gurdaspur. Her husband, Arvinder Singh was a labourer and she worked on other people houses. She has two daughters and a son. They lived in a rented house in the village. The roof was made of tin, they faced difficulty in summer and in the rainy season. In rainy season water fell from place to place.
ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਧੌਲਪੁਰ ਬਟਾਲਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਅਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਿਹਾੜੀਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਘਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਬੇਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਬੇਟਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਰਾਏ ਦੇ ਮਕਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਛੱਤ ਵੀ ਟੀਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।ਗਰਮੀ ਤੇ ਹਾਲ ਬੇਹਾਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ।ਜਦੋ ਬਾਰਸ਼ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਥਾਂ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੋਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
One day, Paramjit Kaur was working on a stove in the house. Suddenly, at the blast of the stove, she was badly burned. His head, mouth, arms, chest were all burned. Neighbours rushed her to Batala Civil Hospital. The doctor asked for an operation. But due to lack of money, the family refused to have the operation.
ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟੋਫ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਸਟੋਫ ਦੇ ਫਟਣ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਬੁੜੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗ ਵਿਚ ਝੁਲਸ ਗਈ। ਉਸਦਾ ਸਿਰ,ਮੂੰਹ ,ਬਾਂਹ,ਛਾਤੀ ਸਭ ਸੜ ਗਏ। ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਟਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ। ਪਰ ਪੈਸੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਮਨ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
She was treated by the village doctor who gave some medicines for his treatment. But the wounds were not healing. One day she goes to Amritsar to get the medicine. The doctor asked her for surgery. She said that his family condition was not good and she was unable to get his proper treatment. The Doctor gets them in touch with the Akaal channel. Because that doctor had treated some other patient by the Akaal channel. The doctor knew they needed someone else's support at this time.
ਕੁੱਝ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਇਲਾਜ਼ ਕਰਵਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।ਪਰ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਠੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ।ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਉਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦਵਾਈ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।ਡਾਕਟਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਮਜਬੂਰੀ ਦੱਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਕਿਉਕਿ ਉਸ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਵਲੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਵੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਡਾਕਟਰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।
The family contacted the team. The team goes to their house. The condition of the house was very poor. There was a room in their house. The roof was made of tin. The team decides to treat Paramjit Kaur and discuss the operation with doctors.
ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਸਰਜਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਫਿਰ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਦੀ ਤਾਰੀਕ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਵਲੋਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ। ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਕਾਫੀ ਠੀਕ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਘਰ ਚੱਲੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ।
