AVTAR SINGH
Avtar Singh lives in village Sadarpura Jagran. He was 25 years old. In his family, there are father Balveer Singh, mother and two sisters who were married. He worked in the factory.
ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਿੰਡ ਸਦਰਪੁਰਾ ਜਗਰਾਉ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ 25 ਸਾਲ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਲਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ,ਮਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਵਿਆਹੀਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਫੈਕਟਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਹਾੜੀਦਾਰ ਸੀ।
One day he gets a fever. He gets his treatment from the village by taking medicine. But he was not recovering. His problems were increasing. He faced problem to breathe, stopped urine, high blood pressure and swelling in the stomach.
ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਬੁਖਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਇਲਾਜ਼ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚੋ ਦਵਾਈ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।ਪਰ ਉਹ ਠੀਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਉਸਨੂੰ ਸਾਹ ਚੜ੍ਹਨ ਲੱਗਾ,ਬਾਥਰੂਮ ਰੁੱਕਣ ਲੱਗਾ, ਬੀ.ਪੀ. ਵੱਧਣ ਲੱਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਟ ਫੁੱਲਣ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
Then his family checked him to another doctor. The doctor tests him and reveals that both of his kidneys are damaged.The doctor said that he would have an operation and he would be given a kidney.
ਫਿਰ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਕੋਲ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਉਸਦੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਕਿਡਨੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਰਾਬ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਠੀਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਕਿਡਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
The family was in grief as Avtar Singh, who had to support his elderly parents, was suffering from a serious illness. The father could not do work. But still he had to work in the fields to support her family and Avtar's mother also worked on other houses and whatever his parent earned they spend on dialysis and medicines for his son. This has been going on for the last one and a half years.
ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਮ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਾੜ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਿਆ ਕਿਉਕਿ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਮਾਂ ਬਾਪ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਬਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਇੱਕ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੂਝ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਬਾਪ ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਪੇਟ ਪਾਲਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਵੀ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੱਚਦਾ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਡਾਇਲਸਿਸ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਲੈਂਦੇ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਇੱਕ - ਡੇਢ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
AVTAR SINGH DURING DIALYSIS
The two sisters who were married came to the village and the parents shared their grief. Both parent was willing to give the kidney to save Avtar's life. But there was no money for the operation. Avtar Singh's younger brother, Yadavinder Singh, contacted the Akaal channel team and said about the family's situation and asked for help them.
ਦੋਵੇਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਵਿਆਹੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆ ਸਨ ਪੇਕੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਂ-ਬਾਪ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੁੱਖ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਵਤਾਰ ਦੀ ਜਾਣ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਾਂ ਬਾਪ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਹੀ ਕਿਡਨੀ ਦੇਣ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ। ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਛੋਟਾ ਜੀਜਾ ਯਾਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਦੱਸ ਕੇ ਮੱਦਦ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
AVTAR SINGH IN KIDNEY HOSPITAL JALANDHAR
The team goes to his house and looked at their situation then the team decided to help them and took Avtar Singh to the kidney hospital in Jalandhar for treatment. The doctor did his and his father all the necessary tests. The kidney was to be given to him by his father because in tests his father's kidney was matched.
ਟੀਮ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੱਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਇਲਾਜ਼ ਲਈ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਕਿਡਨੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉੱਥੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਟੈਸਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਡਨੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣੀ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਕਿ ਟੈਸਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਕਿਡਨੀ ਮੈਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਨਲ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਉ ਸਾਰੀ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੱਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
Affidavits and other required documents were made by his family. When all the necessary paperwork had been created and then operation date was fixed. But suddenly the doctor who had to do the operation transferred to DMC Ludhiana. Then after talking with a doctor and the team took Avtar Singh to DMC Ludhiana. Then Avtar Singh was admitted to the DMC Hospital Ludhiana, and again time for operation was fixed.
ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਅਫੀਡੈਵਿਟ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਕਾਗ਼ਜ਼ਾਦ ਬਣਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।ਜਦੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਕਾਗਜ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਤਾਰੀਕ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਜਿਸ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦੀ ਬਦਲੀ ਡੀ.ਐਮ.ਸੀ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।ਫਿਰ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਡੀ.ਐਮ.ਸੀ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਅਫੀਡੈਵਿਟ ਬਣਵਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੈ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਡੀ.ਐਮ.ਸੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਸਮਾਂ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
A few days later, Avtar Singh's operation is done. His father's kidney was given to Avtar Singh. Now Avtar Singh was slowly recovering. After a few days he discharged from the hospital and he goes to his house. Avtar Singh's sisters and parent were happy because Avtar was all right and was happy with his family.
ਕੁੱਝ ਦਿਨ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਕਿਡਨੀ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਹੁਣ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੌਲੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਠੀਕ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕੁੱਝ ਦਿਨ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਂ-ਬਾਪ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸਨ ਕਿਉਕਿ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਹੁਣ ਬਿਲਕੁੱਲ ਠੀਕ ਠਾਕ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
