Anjalipreet Kaur's family lives in village Boparai Kalan (Amritsar). In his family, there are mother, father, two sisters and a brother. She was about 6 years old. Her father was a labourer and mother worked as a maid in the village.
ਅੰਜਲੀਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਬੋਪਾਰਾਏ ਕਲਾਂ (ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ) ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ,ਦੋ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਭਰਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਲੱਗਭਗ 6 ਸਾਲ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਮਜਦੂਰੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਦੋਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਜਦੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਟਾਇਮ ਬਸਰ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
Suddenly,one-day hot tea fell on Anjalipreet Kaur. His body and arm were burned. His arm wasn't even straight from the elbow. Her parents took her to the hospital and showed her to plastic surgery specialist Dr Samira Sharma.
ਅਚਾਨਕ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰਮ ਚਾਹ ਅੰਜਲੀਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਉਪਰ ਪੈ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਂਹ ਸੜ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਵੀ ਕੂਹਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗਏ। ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਹਰ ਡਾ. ਸਮੀਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ।
The doctor asked her to have two operations. His family was very poor. He told the doctor about the conditions in his home and said that he did not have the money to spend on her operation. The Doctor was aware of the service provided by the Akaal channel to those in need. The doctor gave the Akaal channel team contact number to Anjalipreet's family.
ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਗਰੀਬ ਸੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੈਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਡਾਕਟਰ ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਵਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਲੋੜਵੰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣੂ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੇ ਅੰਜਲੀਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਦਾ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਨੰਬਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
The family contacted the Akaal Channel team, hoping to cure their child. They talked about the situation at home and their baby. In those days, the Akaal channel M.D. S.Amrik Singh Kooner also came to India. The Akaal channel team has talked to M.D.Amrik Singh Kooner about his family and they decided to go to his house to meet the family.
ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਜ਼ ਲਈ ਉਮੀਦ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਬੱਚੀ ਤੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਦੇ ਐਮ. ਡੀ. ਅਮਰੀਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੂੰਨਰ ਵੀ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਆਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਐਮ. ਡੀ. ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
S.Amrik Singh Kooner and the Akaal Channel team visit his house.Seeing their troubles S.Amrik Singh Kooner takes on the responsibility of getting Anjalipreet treated. The team had paid the costs of his two operations. His first operation was for healing wounds on his body caused by fire flames and the second operation was for straightening his arm. Now, Anjalipreet Kaur is living a happy life with his family
ਸ. ਅਮਰੀਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੂੰਨਰ ਤੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਚੈਨਲ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ.ਅਮਰੀਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੂੰਨਰ ਅੰਜਲੀਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਇਲਾਜ਼ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਜਿੰਮਾ ਲਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਟੀਮ ਵਲੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਖਰਚਾ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਤੇ ਸੜ ਜਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਣੇ ਜਖ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਬਾਂਹ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।ਹੁਣ ਅੰਜਲੀਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੱਸਦੀ ਖੇਡਦੀ ਦੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਤੀਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ।
